You know what's funny? Sheepishly depositing $2 at the bank, only to have the teller inform you that this isn't the smallest deposit of the day, so far. HAHA!
Full disclosure - this didn't happen to me, but it did happen to someone I know today!

Good example of a 'penny saved is a penny earned'!!
HAH! One time I cashed a 76 cent check (from the U.S. government; I believe it was my tax refund!). The teller teased me that I'd even bother cashing something that small, but I figure I should take advantage of every single cent I get from the government.

I've had a check for $4.00 in my purse forever!!! My husband is always asking me if I've deposited it. I'm always amazed be even remembers I have it.
